Majinko

Hello there!

Majinko (Working Title) is a Pachinko deckbuilding game. If you don't know what that's supposed to mean, you are not alone. Just give it a try in that case.

The core gameloop is playing cards to shift orbs (the bubbles) or spheres(the thrown ball) in the the arena and defeat oncoming enemies with their own influence on the arena while taking as little damage as possible. After each battle, you get to choose one out of three new cards to add to your deck.

Disclaimer: This game is a small vertical slice, and will not be developed further in the near future.

I will work on a roadmap to post, but until then here are some very rough bullet points of what's to come (in no particular order):

• bosses
• mini-bosses
• rest stations that heal on the overworld map
• a lot more variety in cards, orbs and basic enemies
• card upgrades
• card/relic unlocks to really make it roguelite

For now, this game is meant as a passion- and portfolio-project, so we will limit ourselves to completing an alpha (most features implemented). If this project manages to gather enough interest during that time, we'll consider doing more than that.

That said, we'll try our best to push an update with new content each month.

Note: This is by far not a fully-fledged game yet and donations are welcome, but absolutely not necessary. If you want to do us some good, qualitative feedback and/or comments are the way to go. Donations just let us know if there are people that are really, really sold on this game idea.
